There's no more basic weather instrument than a Barometer. They have long been used by sailors to predict changes in the weather. They do so by letting you know the barometric pressure and more importantly, the barometric trend. Simply stated, if the pressure's going up, the weather will more than likely be improving and if it's going down, grab you raingear! The Predictor is a fine example with a precision German movment and a re-settable dial marker allowing you to record your readings.

The predictor requires no wiring and mounts using three wood screws(included)

All of our Maximum instruments are available in Polished Brass and for and extra $60 Polished Chrome and Satin Nickel cases are available. You can also choose between Silver or Black for the dial color.
